Preventive Care

We want your smile to be healthy and long-lasting. We will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your teeth and gums, and make sure that we are aware of your needs and concerns regarding your smile. Our hygienist may also talk to you about how you can practice excellent oral hygiene at home as well, because achieving and maintaining a strong, beautiful smile is a team effort between you and our dental team.

We also use the DIAGNOdent laser to help detect decay earlier than ever before. The laser sends a tiny beam of light into the tooth enamel and finds hidden decay earlier and more accurately than traditional methods. This allows us to make treatment decisions earlier, so you can avoid more costly treatment later.

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are a wonderful way to protect your child’s teeth from decay. Dr. Ridd usually recommends these to children between the ages of six and thirteen. For best results, sealants should be applied to the biting surface of teeth as soon as the permanent back teeth are functional. If you have questions about sealants and if they are right for your child, you can talk to Dr. Ridd and he will answer your questions.

Bleaching

We present our teeth with a lot of challenges – genetics, our diet, and our oral hygiene habits can all contribute to stained, yellowing and less-radiant looking teeth. Bleaching offers you the opportunity to bring back those pearly-whites, whitening and brightening your smile. We utilize Nite-White or Day-white, which safely removes all stains and unwanted discoloration without damaging the tooth enamel. You will be amazed at the rapid and dramatic results of this process.

Cosmetic Bonding

Dr. Ridd may suggest bonding as a quicker and less expensive alternative to veneers. With bonding, the dentist applies a tooth-colored resin to your teeth and shapes it to change the shape of teeth, eliminate unsightly gaps, or remove stains or discoloration from teeth. Dr. Ridd can discuss and compare this service to veneers if you think it may be the right option for you.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are an aesthetically pleasing way to enhance your smile. Veneers are a thin layer of porcelain permanently bonded to the tooth surface to change the size, shape, and color of your teeth. Veneers are durable and create a beautiful smile. Dr. Ridd may also prescribe composite veneers and cosmetic bonding to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Our tooth-colored fillings are mercury-free and are state of the art. Every one is 100% bonded in place, making your tooth even stronger than before as well as more natural looking. They are shaped and polished to blend in with your enamel, so your teeth will look they never had a cavity.

Porcelain Crowns, Onlays and Inlays

Porcelain is the restoration of choice to protect and naturalize your teeth for life. Porcelain is used when the tooth or filling is cracked, broken, or is otherwise too weak for a filling. We use porcelain for its strength and lifelike similarity to tooth enamel, and each one of our crowns is made by hand in a precision dental laboratory.

Using the latest technology, he can fit custom removable or permanent (non-removable) prosthesis. Full & Partial Dentures

We offer comprehensive services for the fabrication of full and partial dentures. Our partial dentures have precision or semi-precision Equpoise-design which makes them innovative, stable, and beautiful with no unsightly display of metal.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is sometimes necessary in order to preserve a tooth. Dr. Ridd has years of experience and performs root canals efficiently and with precision. The procedure is painless, and is usually completed in one office visit. Many of our patients will attest to this, because they have actually fallen asleep during there visit!

Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatment

We offer a variety of conservative and thorough periodontal management programs. Although some patients may need surgery to correct gums problems, we will always share information of the periodontal treatment options that are available to you.
